At Brown Golf, we believe in impact when it comes to managing a golf facility.  Our goal is to create an ecosystem of operations that gives golf course owners the greatest opportunity to deliver quality to their market.   The focus is on great conditions, growing your club’s revenues, branding your club, and delivering value each time a guest plays your facility.

History

Brown Golf was founded in January 2011, by a team that included John A. Brown, John M. Brown, and Todd Brown.  The Brown Family started the business to take advantage of a depressed golf market.   The business model seemed crazy in the golf climate of 2011, but we forged through.   Entering the market with venture capital support, the model was geared to find valued golf assets, purchase them, and enter into a long-term lease.   Based on our model, delivering value while understanding how to cash flow the facilities was vital to the future growth of the company.   The ownership group added Jason Harshbarger, CFO in September of 2011.

The natural background and experience of the four owners beginning in September of 2011 created opportunities for us to provide third party management services as well.    In July of 2017, the company’s ownership group changed and the current principals in the company are as follows:

John M. Brown – President
Todd Brown – Executive Vice President
Jason Harshbarger – CFO
Lee Arroyo – Equity Partner
